Professional Talks
Speaking & Professional Workshops
Talks for organisations, leadership groups, and professional women on psychological safety, relational dynamics, and identity resilience in high-performance environments.
I work with high-functioning professionals navigating complex relational environments. My talks explore how subtle psychological dynamics — such as relational erosion, identity destabilisation, and emotional overload — affect decision-making, leadership, and wellbeing.
Drawing on psychology, counselling practice, and lived experience in high-status environments, my work helps individuals and organisations recognise patterns that often go unseen but have profound impact.
Speaking Topics
When Composure Becomes Costly (Signature Talk)
Understanding the Composure–Destabilisation Model
High-functioning individuals are often rewarded for composure, adaptability andachievement. But when subtle relational destabilisation begins, those same strengths can become overextended.
Over time, repeated micro-destabilisations can gradually erode self-trust, fracture identity coherence and strain emotional regulation - while the pressure to maintain composure remains unchanged.
In this talk, I introduce the Composure–Destabilisation Model, a framework that explores how the pressure to maintain composure can allow subtle relational destabilisation to quietly erode self-trust in high-functioning environments.
The session explores how:
• subtle destabilisation begins
• high performers adapt through over-regulation
• self-trust gradually erodes beneath professional composure
• internal strain eventually becomes visible
• regulated awareness can restore internal authority
Relational Erosion in High-Functioning Environments
How subtle destabilisation, image management, and emotional labour quietly erode self-trust and professional identity.
